VBF-Thời làm Nail bây giờ không c̣n xuôn sẻ như trước. Khi mở một tiệm Nail mới ra th́ nên biết thị trường tại đó, có người chia sẻ mở lâu rồi c̣n rất vắng khách. Nhiều tiệm có khách người Mễ và Trung Đông nhiều khi làm nhanh chứ không nói chuyện được với họ.

STANTON, California (NV) – Nằm trong một khu thương mại nhỏ không được sầm uất lắm, Tiffany Hair & Nails cùng chịu chung sự vắng khách của toàn khu.

Cô Liên (không muốn cho biết họ), chủ tiệm, cho biết: “Tiệm mở được năm năm rồi mà khách rất vắng. Chúng tôi chỉ cầu sao cho trang trải mọi thứ xong hết, trả được tiền đất là vui lắm rồi. Không dám nghĩ đến tiền dư.”

Tùy hôm, tiệm có từ ba đến bốn thợ. Tùy lúc, họ vừa làm tóc, vừa làm nail.

Cô Kim Vơ, một người làm việc tại đây, nói: “Tôi vừa làm tóc, vừa làm nail, cả chân lẫn tay. Ở đây là phải làm vậy đó. Khách cần ǵ th́ ḿnh làm cái đó chứ không kén chọn.”

Cô mới về đây có vài tháng thôi. “Lúc trước, tôi làm ở Fullerton, đông khách lắm. Nhiều ngày làm luôn tay từ sáng tới tối, quên ăn cơm luôn. Về đây, coi như được nghỉ bù,” cô vừa nói, vừa cười.

Cô Kim cho biết, thà ít tiền đi nhưng được chủ đối xử công b́nh và tử tế. Cô bỏ việc ở chỗ đang đông khách quen chỉ v́ người chủ không làm đúng. “Chủ ǵ mà ăn hiếp nhân viên, người làm sai trái rơ ràng th́ không dám nói, ngược lại, quay ra đổ thừa rồi trách móc tôi,”cô than thở. “Không khí ở đây có tính cách gia đ́nh nên tôi thấy rất dễ chịu.”

Theo lời cô Liên chủ tiệm, khách thường xuyên của tiệm là người Mễ và người từ Trung Đông. “Có nhiều người mặt mũi lầm ĺ nên ḿnh nhiều khi không dám nói ǵ, cứ cố làm cho lẹ cho xong,” cô Liên cho hay.

Khó kiếm tiền ở khu này lắm. Cắt một cái đầu có $6 mà phải vừa chiều khách, vừa chiều mẹ khách. Cô Liên nói: “Nhiều khi khách muốn kiểu này, mẹ khách muốn kiểu khác. Người này hài ḷng th́ người kia đ̣i sửa. Mà sửa thế nào được. Muốn khác th́ phải đợi tóc dài ra. Bởi vậy, về sau này, tôi cứ vừa cắt, vừa phải hỏi kỹ từng người chứ không dám tự nhiên mà làm việc. Nhiều bà dẫn hai đứa con ra, mỗi đứa ngồi một ghế. Bà đứng ở giữa mà ‘điều khiển’ hai thợ. Gặp mấy trường hợp này mệt lắm mà tiền ‘tip’ th́ luôn luôn rất ít hay có khi không có ǵ.”

Tất cả chỉ trong mong vào nail. Mà nail th́ mới hạ giá, “full set” có $16, “mani & pedi.” Chỉ c̣n $13 thôi.

Ông Ronny Wood, một khách quen của tiệm, cho hay: “Từ hai năm nay, tôi hay ra đây cắt tóc. Giá quá rẻ, chỉ $6 một lần th́ cần ǵ phải đi đâu nữa. Họ nói được tiếng Anh tối thiểu để biết tôi muốn ǵ là tốt rồi. Mà cắt lâu, họ biết tôi thích ǵ nên cũng chẳng cần phải nói ǵ cả. Họ cắt rất nhanh, chỉ chừng năm phút là xong rồi. Bà hàng xóm tôi hay ra đây làm nail.”

Cô Corabella Diaz, một khách nail quen, cho biết: “Khi nào có lương là tôi ra đây làm móng tay, móng chân. Họ làm đẹp mà nhanh nữa. Vậy mà có lần tôi phải đợi cả tiếng mới đến phiên. Tôi thường coi như phải mất một buổi ở đây.”

Bà Maria Rodriguez, một khách khác, chia sẻ kinh nghiệm: “Muốn làm nhanh th́ phải ra đây lúc họ vừa mở cửa, đúng 9 giờ rưỡi sáng. Lúc đó học sinh đă đi học và mấy người mẹ c̣n bận đi chợ. Tôi luôn luôn chọn giờ này, vắng người, thoáng khí, và thong thả.”

Cô Liên nói về t́nh trạng chung của tiệm: “Thường th́ tiệm rất vắng khách, nhưng thỉnh thoảng, có những dịp đặc biệt như tựu trường hay ra trường th́ người ta mới chịu dẫn con cái đi làm đẹp. Vào những dịp này, tiệm cũng rất bận. Phải chi ngày nào cũng được như vậy th́ đỡ quá. Chừng 30 phút là xong hết.”

Ngày thường, mấy cô nhân viên rảnh rỗi, tha hồ mà ngồi kể chuyện cho nhau nghe. Đủ chuyện trên trời, dưới đất. Hết chuyện ở Mỹ rồi đến chuyện ở Việt Nam. Kể cả một ṿng trái đất rồi mà vẫn chưa thấy khách vào.

Cô Kim cho hay: “Thực ra, ở đâu cũng có ngày nọ, ngày kia. Ở đây, lâu lâu cũng có ngày bận, Nhưng vấn đề tôi muốn nói là giá thấp quá. Làm cả móng tay và móng chân mà chỉ tính có $13 thôi. Phải chi tính giá gấp đôi th́ tôi kiếm được nhiều tiền hơn.”

Cô Liên th́ lại nghĩ khác: “Giá đă thấp vậy mà c̣n không có khách. Tính giá cao hơn nữa th́ ai mà chịu vô tiệm ḿnh.”

Cách đấy dăm bảy đoạn đường, cũng có những tiệm chuyên nail khác. Lượng khách của họ cao hơn Tiffany.

Cô Liên tặc lưỡi: “Thôi, được ngày nào, hay ngày nấy và chỉ cầu cho ḿnh trúng số.”

Thằng lé nói cũng đúng chứ. Nếu dân cứ vễnh tai lên nghe những thằng VC có óc toàn phân th́ sẽ mạt hơn bây giờ. Nếu dân trong nước không mạt th́ cũng đâu cần con số 12+ tỷ của người Việt gởi về hàng năm chứ.
Qua năm mới th́ thằng óc phân này cũng thải ra được ít nhiều cái đỉnh cao của loài Khỉ TS rồi. Th́ ra nhờ ăn phân tươi của tụi ḿnh và đám óc heo này có tiến bộ nhiều. Ráng lên lé, phân tươi sẽ có đều đều cho riêng lé mỗi ngày. Đám c̣n lại th́ chưa tỉnh táo, tạm thời phân và nước tiểu trộn chung cho tụi đó. :haf ppy:

Chắc ẻm thích ṃ chứ, nhưng bẩm sinh lé xẹ xè xe và hay say thuốc cần sa nên hay ṃ bậy hihihi
