Thư kư riêng của TT Trump, cô Madeleine Westerhout, thư kư 28 tuổi ngày 29/8 đă xin từ chức sau khi tiết lộ thông tin về gia đ́nh Tổng thống với truyền thông.

Westerhout nghỉ việc một cách đột ngột sau khi Tổng thống Donald Trump biết cô đă đề cập đến các vấn đề trong gia đ́nh ông và nội bộ Nhà Trắng với các phóng viên trong một cuộc trao đổi thân mật khi ông tới bang New Jersey công tác gần đây, các nguồn tin giấu tên cho biết.

Theo CNN, Westerhout đă không nói rơ với các phóng viên trong cuộc gặp rằng họ cần giữ kín những ǵ cô chia sẻ, nên một phóng viên đă tiết lộ nội dung cuộc trao đổi với Nhà Trắng. NYTimes cho hay Westerhout hiện nằm trong diện không được phép vào Nhà Trắng.

Một cựu quan chức chính quyền Trump mô tả mối quan hệ giữa Tổng thống với Westerhout là "thân thiết", nhưng Trump luôn vạch ra "lằn ranh đỏ" với các nhân viên nếu họ tiết lộ thông tin về gia đ́nh ông.

Chính quyền Trump đặc biệt nhạy cảm với việc nhân viên ṛ rỉ thông tin với truyền thông. Ông thường lên án cả các quan chức lẫn phóng viên về những bản tin liên quan đến t́nh h́nh nội bộ trong Nhà Trắng.

Westerhout, 28 tuổi, là thư kư riêng cho Tổng thống Trump từ năm 2017 đến nay và được bổ nhiệm làm người điều hành các hoạt động ở Pḥng Bầu dục của Nhà Trắng từ tháng 2. Nơi làm việc của Westerhout ở ngay phía trước Pḥng Bầu dục, nên cô thường được mệnh danh là "người gác cổng" của Trump.

Nhà thằng đế nào mà không có hũ mắm, kể cả nhà của you. Tuy nhiên, con nhỏ này mồm đă thối, lại chơ ngay cái mơm thối vào chuyện không nên (red line) th́ mất việc thôi chứ có ǵ mà phải nhiễu sự.
