Hôm nay 25-1-2021, công ty Dominion Voting Systems đă đệ đơn kiện Rudolph W. Giuliani, luật sư của Donald J. Trump, người đóng vai tṛ quan trọng trong nỗ lực kéo dài nhiều tháng nhằm lật đổ kết quả cuộc bầu cử năm 2020.


Đơn kiện 107 trang được đệ tŕnh lên Ṭa án khu vực Liên bang ở Washington, cáo buộc Giuliani thực hiện “chiến dịch thông tin sai lệch lan truyền về Dominion”, được tạo nên từ những cáo buộc “sai lầm đáng kể”. Dominion đ̣i bồi thường hơn 1,3 tỷ USD.

Rudy Giuliani, một trong những cố vấn và thân tín nhất của Trump, đang sống những ngày ê chề, ngay sau khi “đế chế Trump” sụp đổ. Tháng này, chủ tịch ủy ban tư pháp của Thượng viện bang New York đă chính thức yêu cầu hệ thống ṭa án bang tước giấy phép hành nghề luật sư của đương sự.

Cách đây vài tuần, Dominion đă nộp đơn kiện Sidney Powell, một luật sư của Trump cũng nổi tiếng với những thuyết âm mưu rẻ tiền để bằng mọi giá qui chụp vô căn cứ về chuyện Trump “bị thất cử bởi gian lận phiếu bầu”.

Vụ kiện Dominion nhắm vào Giuliani c̣n đề cập những tuyên bố sai lầm về việc Dominion dính dáng cuộc bạo động tại trụ sở Quốc hội ngày 6-1-2021, khi Giuliani nhắc đến Dominion trong bài phát biểu tại cuộc mít tinh ủng hộ Trump vài giờ trước khi xảy ra vụ tấn công phá hoại Capitol Hill.

Thomas A. Clare, một luật sư đại diện cho Dominion, nói rằng cuộc bạo động không phải là yếu tố dẫn đến quyết định kiện ông Giuliani, nhưng nó cho thấy lực lượng “fan cuồng” Trump đă bị kích động đáng kể từ những lời nói dối trơ tráo của Trump cũng như từ các luật sư vô luân như Giuliani, Sidney Powell, Lin Wood… Ông Clare nói, những phát biểu dối trá nguy hiểm ở chỗ nó không chỉ tác động sâu vào nhận thức mà c̣n đi thẳng vào “hệ niềm tin” dẫn đến việc người ta hành động v́ tin tuyệt đối vào những dối trá ấy.

John Poulos, giám đốc điều hành Dominion, nói rằng công ty của ông kiện Giuliani để không chỉ lấy lại sự thật mà c̣n nhằm khôi phục niềm tin vào hệ thống bầu cử Mỹ. “Những lời nói dối không chỉ làm tổn hại danh tiếng công ty” – ông Poulos nói – “mà c̣n làm xói ṃn ḷng tin đối với thể chế dân chủ Mỹ, nhấn ch́m công việc đáng ghi nhận của giới chức bầu cử, những người nỗ lực thực hiện chu toàn công việc sao cho có thể đảm bảo một cuộc bầu cử minh bạch và an toàn. Hàng ngh́n vụ kiểm tra và đếm lại bằng tay chứng minh rằng máy móc đă đếm chính xác vẫn tiếp tục bị lu mờ bởi thông tin sai lệch”.

Dominion là nhà sản xuất thiết bị máy kiểm phiếu lớn ở Mỹ, chỉ đứng sau Hệ thống & Phần mềm Bầu cử (Election Systems & Software). Các mẫu máy Dominion khác nhau đă được sử dụng tại hơn hai chục bang, ở các bang truyền thống của Dân chủ, Cộng ḥa lẫn bang chiến địa, trong cuộc bầu cử 2020. Dominion trước đó đă cảnh báo Giuliani, khi gửi một lá thư cho ông này vào cuối tháng 12, yêu cầu ông lưu tất cả tuyên bố lệch lạc và ngừng đưa ra những phát biểu sai sự thật, đồng thời nhắc rằng chuyện lôi đương sự ra pháp đ́nh là khó tránh khỏi. Tuy nhiên, Giuliani tiếp tục lải nhải về “bầu cử gian lận”, thậm chí c̣n tranh căi trên Twitter vài ngày sau khi nhận được bức thư, rằng “máy bỏ phiếu Dominion giả” cần được điều tra.

Gần đây nhất, tuần trước, Giuliani phát biểu trong một chương tŕnh phát thanh ở New York City, rằng “chừng nào bạn c̣n Dominion th́ chừng đó sẽ c̣n mối nguy hiển hiện” về việc các cuộc bầu cử có thể bị gian lận. Giuliani nói thêm rằng ḿnh có “cả đống thùng đựng bằng chứng”. Dominion cho biết họ có kế hoạch nộp nhiều đơn kiện nữa, nhằm vào Mike Lindell, Lou Dobbs, Fox News, Fox Business, Newsmax, One America News Network, và thậm chí cả Donald Trump. Tháng này, American Thinker, một trang web bảo thủ, đă phải đăng đính chính, nói rằng những ǵ họ từng tường thuật về Dominion đều “hoàn toàn sai sự thật và không có cơ sở trên thực tế” và “chúng tôi đă sai khi công bố những tuyên bố sai lệch này”.

Dominion cho biết, những phát biểu qui chụp vô căn cứ của đám luật sư hạ lưu “bán rẻ linh hồn cho quỷ” như Sidney Powell hoặc Rudy Giuliani đă trở thành nguyên nhân đáng kể dẫn đến cuộc bạo loạn chưa từng có trong lịch sử nhằm vào trụ sở Quốc hội. Chỉ trong khoảng ba tiếng đồng hồ ngày 21-12-2020, từ “Dominion” và “fraud” (lừa đảo) đă được tweet bởi hơn 2.200 người với tổng cộng 8,75 triệu người theo dơi. Hậu quả là Dominion nhận được vô số đe dọa bạo lực.

Một nhân viên Dominion nhận được tin nhắn ghi: “Chúng tao đang theo dơi mày. Trong sạch th́ mới được sống”. Một tin nhắn khác trong hộp thư thoại hỗ trợ khách hàng Dominion có câu: “Chúng tao sẽ mang đến một đội hành quyết”. Dominion phải chi 565.000 USD cho an ninh cá nhân. Tổn thất lớn nhất là họ bị mất niềm tin cực kỳ nghiêm trọng đối với cử tri Mỹ.

Công ty cho biết hàng trăm hợp đồng với các tiểu bang và địa phương hiện có nguy cơ không thể thực hiện và thiệt hại doanh thu trong 5 năm tới có thể lên đến 200 triệu USD.

Kỳ này chắc Giuliani mua loại thuốc nhuộm tóc c̣n rẻ hơn thuốc kỳ trước, chảy dính đầy đầu. Một cái đầu không c̣n tóc để nhuộm nên thuốc không có chỗ bám.

chỉ sợ cha nội này ra ṭa văi ...cả hơi không ai chịu nỗi...người ta ra ṭa căi bằng miệng c̣n lăo căi bằng.....hahahahhaa

Dân CC khác các người kia một chút, là... nặc danh. Nói láo tỉnh queo. Chỉ có mấy tên lên youtube th́ bắt đầu... teo.

Khi b́nh thường th́ họ nói covid là giả đeo mask để làm ǵ? Nhưng đến khi mang cờ vàng lên Capitol th́ lại đeo, để che mặt lại.

Đến khi bỏ cờ lại chạy mất, th́ cũng vẫn nặc danh.
