Chỉ ít ngày sau khi chính thức khánh thành công tŕnh cải tạo, xây dựng lại kênh Nhiêu Lộc – Thị Nghè, hiện ḍng kênh này lại đầy rác thải.
Kênh Nhiêu Lộc – Thị Nghè vừa chính thức được khánh thành (giai đoạn 1) hoành tráng vào ngày 18/8 vừa qua.



Thế nhưng, chỉ ít ngày sau buổi lễ quan trọng này, trở lại ḍng kênh nói trên, chúng tôi nhận thấy các loại rác thải, hộp xốp, ḍng nước đen ng̣m, sủi bọt trắng xóa, hôi thối vẫn rất nhiều.

Đi dọc theo kênh với đoạn đường dài khoảng hơn 10km vào trưa 26/8, chúng tôi nhận thấy từ đoạn cầu số 5 trở về sau, đi đến đoạn kênh nào cũng có thể nhận thấy ngay đủ thứ loại rác thải nổi lềnh bềnh trong một ḍng nước đen ng̣m, ô nhiễm, hôi thối.
Đă vậy nhiều người dân c̣n dùng nước kênh này để rửa các bịch nilon, phơi đầy dọc theo các bờ kênh. Thậm chí, theo phản ánh của nhiều người dân sống ở khu vực này, đây là nơi một số người dân coi là nhà vệ sinh công cộng của thành phố.

Theo ông Phan Châu Thuận – Giám đốc Ban quản lư dự án vệ sinh môi trường lưu vực Nhiêu Lộc – Thị Nghè, phải đến cuối năm 2013, nước của ḍng kênh Nhiêu Lộc – Thị Nghè mới có thể trong xanh trở lại.

Ḍng kênh Nhiêu Lộc – Thị Nghè đă ô nhiễm từ vài chục năm qua. Theo đại diện Ban quản lư dự án vệ sinh môi trường lưu vực Nhiêu Lộc – Thị Nghè, việc xử lư cho nước không c̣n mùi ô nhiễm c̣n phụ thuộc vào giai đoạn 2 của công tŕnh cải tạo.



Tổng vốn đầu tư cho giai đoạn này vào khoảng 470 triệu USD với 1 nhà máy xử lư nước thải công suất 480.000m3/ngày.Hiện giai đoạn 2 của công tŕnh đang được khởi động, chuẩn bị bắt đầu.

Song song đó, việc xử lư những người dân gây ô nhiễm, xả rác thải xuống ḍng kênh đă được UBND TP.HCM giao cho lănh đạo các quận mà ḍng kênh này đi ngang qua (quận 1, 3, B́nh Thạnh, Tân B́nh, Phú Nhuận) được quyền phân công lực lượng xử phạt.
Thế nhưng, nhiều người dân địa phương phản ánh, trước khi khánh thành c̣n thấy có người đi tuần tra thường xuyên trên ḍng kênh, c̣n sau đó th́ chẳng thấy bóng dáng đâu cả. C̣n người dân th́ cứ vô tư xả rác, gây ô nhiễm ḍng kênh Nhiêu Lộc – Thị Nghè.

Nên xin thêm 400 triệu nửa để giáo dục về vệ sinh công cộng, nếp sống văn minh, thêm 400 triệu khác để đưa nước thải mổi hộ gia đ́nh vào ống cống chính đưa về nhà máy lọc nước thải, chứ nhà máy lọc gần nửa triệu m3 nước thải mà không có nước thảy chảy về th́ lấy ǵ lọc sạch ??? hay lại "chém gió" ? để xin tiền nước ngoài, thể hiện nước ta xây dựng ǵ cũng vĩ đại cả ???

Dự án vệ sinh môi trường lưu vực Nhiêu Lộc – Thị Nghè phải chờ đến 2113 mới có ḍng nước xanh.

Phải viết đúng là TPHCM vẫn hôi thúi chứ, chừng nào trả lại tên Sàig̣n th́ không cần đổ tiền ḍng kinh nầy vẫn sạch và đẹp.
