Chị gọi điện cho tôi, nói với giọng thảng thốt : “Em ơi! Có cách nào chạy cho thằng con chị khỏi bị gọi nhập ngũ, nó rớt Đại học rồi!. Có trường nào chị gởi, bao nhiêu tiền cũng được… Nếu không được chắc chị cho nó đi du học bên Sing, trường nào cũng được, miễn làm sao nó khỏi đi lính!”.

Tôi hỏi chị : “Đi nghĩa vụ quân sự giờ chỉ có 2 năm mà chị, sao không để nó đi, rồi về học Đại học cũng không muộn mà?”.

Chị cúp máy cái rụp, sau đó nhắn tin :”Tôi tưởng anh làm báo có thể giúp cháu, không ngờ anh tệ hại đến thế!”.

Mấy hôm nay, lần lượt các trường Đại học công bố điểm.

Cộng đồng mạng xôn xao về quy định vẫn phải nhập ngũ, khi có giấy báo nhập học sau giấy gọi nhập ngũ.

Các gia đ́nh có tiền đang chạy bằng mọi cách, để con khỏi đi lính.

Một số tờ báo cũng ra sức “tư vấn” cho thanh niên khỏi nhập ngũ…

Cha mẹ nào mà không thương con?.

Nhưng quốc gia nào mà khộng cần những người lính, vậy đi lính bây giờ chỉ là con nhà nghèo, những gia đ́nh không có điều kiện kinh tế?..

Tôi nhớ, hồi học trung học thời chiến tranh biên giới Tây Nam, lớp tôi có đến gần 50% sĩ số học sinh nam lên đường nhập ngũ và gần 1/3 bạn bè đă không trở về…

Với nhiều quốc gia đang trong trạng thái chiến tranh như: Israel, nam nữ thanh niên thi hành nghĩa vụ quân sự được xem là bắt buộc; hay Hàn Quốc, bất luận là nhân tài hay người của công chúng, từ 18 đến 35 tuổi đều phải thi hành nghiêm luật nghĩa vụ quân sự 24 tháng (như trường hợp ca sĩ Bi Rain hay siêu sao Lee Jun Ki hay siêu cầu thủ Park Chu-Young)…

Việt Nam với “truyền thống yêu nước nồng nàn”, sao lại có nhiều người muốn từ bỏ nghĩa vụ bảo vệ Tổ quốc ngay cả khi ở thời b́nh?.

Hay bây giờ yêu nước chỉ là đóng góp tiền “Góp đá xây Trường Sa”, đóng tiền An ninh quốc pḥng, hô hào bảo vệ Tổ quốc trên báo chí, truyền thông… c̣n nghĩa vụ đi lính thuộc về trách nhiệm con nhà nghèo?..

Thử thống kê coi có bao nhiêu con quan chức từ cấp phường xă trở lên lên đường nhập ngũ?…

Khỏi cần tìm hoặc đếm chi cho mệt,không có thằng nào con ông cháu cha mà phải nhập ngũ đâu.Chỉ có dân đen không tiền mặc dù có là nhân tài đi chăng nữa cũng thế thôi.Tụi VC là thế đấy,thật tội ngiệp cho dân Việt.

Ngày trước "Gia tài" chỉ có "nón cối và dép râu" thì khỉ Trường Sơn mới kiên quyết và hăng hái đi "giải phóng miền Nam" chứ thời này Gia tài đã kếch sù ruộng đất,nhà cửa,tiền gửi nước ngoài bao la thì bảo chúng..."lên đường bảo vệ đất nước"...."quên đi Diễm" và "ngây thơ quá Diễm".
