Kết quả nghiên cứu được xem như một bằng chứng để củng cố quyết định của một số nước châu Âu về việc đề xuất thay thế mũi vaccine AstraZeneca thứ 2 bằng một loại vaccine khác.Matthew Snape, giáo sư Đại học Oxford tham gia nghiên cứu này cho biết, các phát hiện có thể được sử dụng như một chỉ dẫn linh hoạt trong các chiến dịch tiêm chủng.
